Connect Your Google Calendar to Telegram in 30 Seconds

Beatrice Team · March 12, 2026 · 4 min read

Most calendar integrations require installing a browser extension, granting OAuth permissions across three screens, and then configuring a sync interval. Beatrice takes a different approach: you connect once inside Telegram, and it works immediately.

Here's exactly what the process looks like.

What You Need

  • A Telegram account (any device)
  • A Google Calendar account
  • About 30 seconds

You don't need to install anything new. Beatrice lives entirely inside Telegram.

Step 1: Open Beatrice on Telegram

Search for @Beatrice_AI_bot in Telegram or tap the link from the Beatrice website. Start a conversation by pressing Start.

Beatrice will introduce herself and offer to connect your calendar. You can also type /connect at any time to trigger the connection flow.

Step 2: Authorize Google Calendar

Beatrice will send you a one-tap authorization link. Tap it — it opens Google's standard OAuth screen in your browser. Select the Google account you want to connect, review the permissions (read and write access to your calendar), and tap Allow.

Beatrice requests only calendar access — no access to your Gmail, Drive, or other Google services.

Step 3: That's It

Once you authorize, Beatrice confirms in Telegram and immediately starts monitoring your calendar. You don't need to configure anything else.

By default, Beatrice will:

  • Send you a proactive Sunday briefing with the week ahead
  • Alert you when it detects a scheduling conflict
  • Respond to natural language questions about your schedule (“What do I have Thursday afternoon?”)
  • Book, move, and cancel events when you ask

Adjusting Your Preferences

If you want to change when you receive briefings, or tell Beatrice to focus on a specific calendar, just say so in plain English. For example:

  • “Send me the weekly briefing on Friday evening instead”
  • “Only show me events from my work calendar”
  • “Don't notify me about events shorter than 15 minutes”

Beatrice stores your preferences and applies them going forward. No settings menus required.

Disconnecting

If you ever want to disconnect your calendar, type /disconnect in Telegram. Beatrice will revoke its access immediately and confirm. Your calendar data is not retained after disconnection.
